John Barrie Associates was formed in 1992 to provide an environmentally sound alternative to traditional design. We believe architecture should move the spirit and improve the environment. We are inspired by the power of the human mind, the fragility of the natural world, and the magic of bringing form to life. With diverse partnerships and integrated design, we are creating qualitatively better buildings, with clean air, solar heating and natural cooling, buildings that we are proud of…buildings that the earth can sustain. Our buildings achieve breakthrough energy efficiency and save the atmosphere from greenhouse gasses with uncompromised comfort, durability and aesthetics.
