Ann Arbor Area Clean Cities Coalition, Ann Arbor

Clean Cities is a Department of Energy program whose goal is to advance the environmental, economic, and energy security of the United States by supporting local decisions to adopt practices that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption in the transportation sector. Clean Cities carries out this objective through a network of more than 80 volunteer, community-based coalitions which develop public/private partnerships to promote alternative fuels and vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction.
